Ahead of Schedule!

Feminine Needs, Wants, & Flaws launches tonight! I’ve worked hard to get this booklet finalized, and finally am ready to begin sending out emails tonight to all the preorder customers! You can still order today, it’s not too late! I’ve written about this booklet below! Thank you to everyone who has supported this endeavor!

There are things the Lord wove into a woman that the world has tried very hard to make her ashamed of.

The need for security.

For rhythm.

For conversation.

For beauty.

For home.

For tenderness.

For stillness.

For nurture.

And there are other things we often call needs that are not needs at all.

The need to control.

To be constantly reassured.

To be understood by everyone.

To compare.

To escape.

To be seen.

These are not small things, sister.

They shape the way we speak to our husbands. The way we mother our children. The way we keep our homes. The way we handle correction. The way we receive love. The way we pray when life feels unsettled.

That is why I wrote this booklet.

Feminine Needs, Wants, & Flaws” is a biblical reflection on the needs, desires, and distortions of womanhood.

Not because women need another voice yelling at them.

And not because we need another soft little devotional that refuses to name sin.

But because many of us know something in us has been pulled out of order.

We feel it in the home.

We feel it in our speech.

We feel it when we are tired.

We feel it when we are trying to control the atmosphere.

We feel it when we want to be cherished, but instead we become sharp.

We feel it when we long for peace, but keep reaching for the wrong thing.

A few lines from the booklet:

A peaceful home is a blessing, but it is not our peace. A secure bank account is a comfort, but it is not our security. A supportive husband is a gift, but he is not our source. Our source should be Christ.”

The table is one of the most ordinary holy places in a house. Not because the food is impressive. Not because the centerpiece is perfect. Because bodies gather there.”

TRADITIONAL BIBLICAL HOMEMAKING

The culture told you the home was a cage. Christie built this because she found it to be a kingdom. A no-nonsense, biblically grounded guide to homemaking that actually dignifies the woman doing it.

“Shame is not the Lord’s tool. He uses conviction. He uses kindness. He uses a quiet sentence in your spirit that says, Daughter, come home.”
