Jesus did not send the restored man to a platform. He sent him home to the people who remembered the screaming.
Mark 5 gives us tombs. Chains. Screaming in the dark. A man living among the dead.
They knew him by what he broke. Chains. Fetters. Himself.
The town bound him again and again. He tore through it and went back among the tombs. Day and night he cried from the mountains. He cut himself with stones.
